Il problema è rimanere artisti crescendo

12:55 Life

If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you won’t come with anything original. [...] Boys become frightened to be wrong.

E’ un breve estratto (spero corretto) da un interessante intervento su TED di Sir Ken Robinson. Parla della creatività e di come l’educazione uccida questa capacità nei bambini. Aggiungo qualche traccia:

We are educating people out of their creative capacities. [...] The problem is to remain an artist growing up.

I think math is very important but so is dance. [...] We have a body.

When you succeed. [...] You have to conclude that the purpose of any education around the world is to produce university professors. [...] They are disembodied. [...] They look at their bodies as a form of transport for their heads.

The whole system was invented around the world [...] the nineteen century. [...] for industrialism. [...] Many talented, brilliant people think are not [valuable for the society].

Intelligence is diverse. Intelligence is dynamic. Intelligence is wonderfully interactive.

Phylosophycal thing: “If a man speaks his mind in the forest and no woman hears him, he is still wrong”. [gh]

People that have to move to think. [in riferimento ad una breve descrizione dell'infanzia della coreografa di Cats, Gillian Lynne]

Non aggiungo altro, se non che vi consiglio di guardare il video.
